Hocking Valley Scenic Railway
The Hocking Valley Scenic Railway has been a local tradition for over 50 years, offering historic train rides out of Nelsonville, Ohio. Regular weekend trains run between May and October, along with several special-themed trains. Tickets can be purchased online and will be held at the Nelsonville Depot on the day of departure.

Holiday Trains
The Santa Train is the longest-running ride offered by the Hocking Valley Scenic Railway. Join the tradition this holiday season and book your tickets. During each ride, Santa boards the train and visits with each child while festive Christmas music plays. Specialty Trains

Daily Train Rides
The Nelsonville East Logan ride is available every Saturday and Sunday between Memorial Day and the end of October. This roundtrip train travels from Nelsonville to East Logan along the scenic Hocking River. The trip includes narration, during which you will learn about the history and landmarks of the Hills.
